How the ShopitCart wallet, wallet PIN and payments to suppliers in China work.

The wallet

Your wallet holds a balance in Ghana cedis (GHS).
The RMB amount shown for your balance is an estimate at the current rate. Your balance itself does not change when the rate changes.
Wallet top-ups through card and mobile money will be available once our payment partners are live. Until then, contact support about funding your wallet.

Every wallet payment needs your 4–6 digit wallet PIN. Easy-to-guess PINs are not allowed.
After 5 wrong PIN attempts, the wallet locks for 10 minutes.
Changing your PIN requires your account password. After a PIN change or reset, wallet spending pauses for 10 minutes and we email you a security alert.
PIN reset links expire after 30 minutes.

You add a supplier once with their Alipay, WeChat Pay or Chinese bank details.
When you pay, the cedi cost is the RMB amount multiplied by the current rate. There are no additional fees.
The cedi amount is taken from your wallet when you submit the request. Our team then pays the supplier.
Requests move from Pending to Completed. If a request fails it is marked Failed and refunded to your wallet; a completed payment that is reversed is marked Reversed and refunded.

Check supplier details carefully. Money sent to the account details you provided cannot always be recovered.
