In short

ShopitCart uses only what it needs to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your cart and preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Cookies

Name	Purpose	Lasts
sc_session	Keeps you securely signed in. Cannot be read by scripts on the page.	Up to 30 days, or until you sign out
Waitlist access	Remembers that your invite link was valid while the waitlist is active.	7 days

Browser storage

Your cart, saved items, followed stores and recently viewed products.
Theme (light, dark or automatic) and your cookie choice.
Onboarding tour progress and which prompts you have dismissed.

This data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Your choices

Because everything listed here is needed for the site to work, choosing “Essential only” in the cookie banner keeps ShopitCart fully usable. You can change your choice anytime in Settings.
